We are looking for an energetic, confident and service-minded Deckhand / Guide who thrives in the spotlight and loves creating unforgettable guest experiences. Our vessels operate from central Stockholm, right in the heart of the city, and take guests out into the breathtaking Stockholm Archipelago. This is not just a job — it’s your stage at sea.
About the Role
As a Deckhand / Guide, you are both an essential crew member and the face of the cruise. You will welcome guests onboard with charisma and confidence, guide and narrate through Stockholm and the Archipelago’s highlights, create an engaging and lively atmosphere onboard, assist with deck operations and ensure smooth daily departures from central Stockholm, and combine safety, seamanship and showmanship in every departure. You are equally comfortable handling lines on deck as you are holding the microphone in front of a full boat of guests.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has excellent knowledge of Stockholm and the Archipelago
- Is a natural storyteller who captivates audiences
- Speaks fluent English (additional languages are a strong advantage)
- Loves being in the spotlight and feels comfortable taking center stage
- Has strong presence, energy and confidence
- Thrives in a dynamic maritime environment
- Meets the requirements for a Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Läkarintyg för sjöfolk)
