Purpose of the role
nShift is building a first-of-its-kind agentic AI product to transform how the logistics industry handles its most entrenched, manual workflows. Powered by autonomous AI agents and LLMs, nothing as it exists in the market today.
This is not a conventional PM role. You'll be the 'Builder' inside a deliberately small, AI-augmented pod. The team model is intentional: a tight human core governing agents moves faster and makes better decisions than a large team operating conventionally.
You'll have the rare combination of a private equity-backed platform company's customer base and resources, the energy of a genuine 0-to-1 build, and a unique agentic architecture that standalone competitors cannot replicate. You won't just launch a product; you'll create a new category.
Become the internal authority on the problem space, owning the customer pain points, workflows, and economics of the logistics industry.
Own and communicate the product vision to engineering, sales, and leadership, and shape long-term strategy beyond near-term planning.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Ownership
Own pricing and packaging strategy. Own sales enablement, including battlecards, ROI frameworks, and product narrative.
Technical Product Leadership
Partner with engineering to guide productisation of AI agent capabilities into a scalable SaaS product, driving tradeoffs between quality, speed, and unit economics.
You are AI-native, not AI-curious. You have fundamentally redesigned your workflows around AI agents and have strong, experience-backed opinions on how AI changes how product teams should be structured and products built.
You thrive with high autonomy and a lean team. You are as comfortable presenting ROI to a CFO as you are writing a technical spec or running customer discovery - often on the same day. You don't need a clear playbook; you write it.
You understand that in a small, AI-augmented pod, the constraint is not engineering capacity - it is strategic clarity, decision velocity, and prioritization discipline. That is where you spend your energy.
AI-native working style: You use LLM assistants, AI coding tools, and prototyping agents as your default workflow, not occasional experiments. You can build functional proofs-of-concept independently.
Deep understanding of AI/ML products: LLM pipelines, accuracy/cost/latency tradeoffs, data feedback loops, and productising AI for non-technical users.
Excellent written and verbal English: you'll present to leadership, write specs, and run customer discovery, often on the same day.
Nice to Have
