Lund University was founded in 1666 and is repeatedly ranked among the world’s top universities. The University has around 46 000 students and 8 500 staff based in Lund, Helsingborg and Malmö. We are united in our efforts to understand, explain and improve our world and the human condition.
Description of the workplace
The Structural Proteomics unit at BioMS Lund is a part of the SciLifeLab Integrated structural biology platform https://www.scilifelab.se/structural-biology/. The unit provides access to cutting-edge equipment and expertise, for the analysis of protein interactions and conformational dynamics of proteins using mass spectrometry. The structural proteomics unit does contract research for scientist and companies in Sweden and EU where our main analysis techniques are Hydrogen/Deuterium Exchange - (HDX) and Crosslinking Mass Spectrometry. We are a national Swedish infrastructure that provides research services that can provide insight into the function of macromolecules to generate increased understanding of diseases. The unit is funded by the SciLifeLab, the Swedish Research Council (BioMS) and Lund University.
