The Sales Director will play a key role in driving commercial performance, developing talent, and delivering on strategic priorities, ensuring that the organization meets its growth ambitions while strengthening execution and cross-functional collaboration.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Nordic Sales Director, the Sales Director will have full responsibility for the national sales organization, comprising approximately 20 employees, including 4 direct reports: a Sales Manager, two Business Unit Managers, and a Sales Support Manager.
The position requires a strategic and commercially minded leader who balances hands-on involvement with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. The Sales Director will also act as a key contributor to the Nordic leadership team and may be considered for future succession into the Nordic Sales Director role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the national sales organization, ensuring high performance and accountability
Drive profitable and controlled growth in strategic categories and channels
Translate Nordic strategic priorities into local execution plans
Own forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
Lead negotiations with key customers and strategic commercial partners
Foster strong collaboration across marketing, supply chain, production, and finance
Actively contribute to Nordic leadership discussions, decisions, and initiatives

Qualifications and Experience
Proven senior leadership experience within FMCG or a related industry
Track record of leading sales organizations of 15–25+ employees
Strong understanding of production environments and supply chain dynamics
Solid experience in strategic negotiations and key account management
Experience operating in Nordic or international matrix organizations
Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities
