Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a cross-functional team working on the development of modern digital solutions that support business-critical processes and data-driven decision-making.
You will be involved in designing, developing, and integrating new system support while modernizing existing solutions within a larger digital ecosystem. The role requires close collaboration with architects, developers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement APIs and integrations in distributed environments
- Develop microservices-based solutions
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design
- Work with container-based platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Build and maintain event-driven integrations and messaging solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of software development experience
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and integrations
- Experience working in distributed systems environments
- Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
- Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices
- Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GIS or BIM-related applications and datasets
- Experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, or public sector projects
- Experience with React, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, GoLang, or WSO2 API Manager
