Location: Stockholm (Hybrid/Remote-first). We’re a remote-first team, but for this role we prefer someone based in Stockholm who can join occasional in-person meetings.
Tiptapp turns idle car space into same‑day delivery power. Our marketplace lets anyone move, deliver or recycle items quickly while cutting CO₂ if you live in Stockholm, London, Berlin or Lisbon. Since 2020 we’re profitable and are gearing up for continued expansion. We’re backed by early investors in Spotify and Klarna.
We need a finance leader, someone who can own the numbers end‑to‑end while keeping operations lean. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the CEO, shape our finance stack and put the company in pole position for fundraising or M&A in the coming years. Expect to take on company administration in addition to finance responsibilities.
- Close the books without drama. Run month‑end and annual accounts with our outsourced accounting partner.
- Make the numbers talk. Build P&L, budget and forecasting models (BigQuery + Google Sheets) and turn them into crisp board & investor insights.
- Raise our strategic readiness. Package financials for equity, debt or exit conversations.
- Automate the admin. Streamline VAT, DAC7, payroll, warrants and compliance, using smart tools, our partners firm, or any other external specialists.
- Take a seat at the leadership table. We are a small team, your voice will matter both in the team and when presenting for investors and at board meetings; co‑pitch to investors and lenders.
- Make sure we spend smart. Help us protect our cash and make sure our suppliers deliver on their promises.
- Own the unglamorous, too. Execute recurring admin alongside the strategic work, no handoffs.
- Manage a large team. You’ll be a high‑impact IC for at least 24 months.
- Spend months rolling out a heavy ERP; we favour practical solutions that work today.
- Perfect theoretical models – we’d rather build, test, and iterate.
- 5-8 years’ hands‑on finance & controlling in a fast‑growing company.
- Solid grip on Swedish GAAP; IFRS and multi‑country exposure (UK, DE etc.) is a plus.
- Comfortable switching from hands-on accounting to board decks in the same morning, prioritises outcomes over titles and is ready to do administrative work.
- Strong Excel/Sheets chops; SQL/BigQuery, Fortnox or Stripe experience welcomed.
- Track record of process automation or tool roll‑outs.
- Fluent English; Swedish proficiency preferred but not required.
- Startup mindset. Bias for action, keen to do more with less.
