Job Description
As Senior Product Manager for Store Experience (Checkout / POS), you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our in‑store customer experience. You will own the Point of Sale (POS) product end‑to‑end, driving business value through scalable, user‑centric and data‑informed solutions. You will act as both Product manager and Business expert in this area.
This role combines product strategy, execution, business expertise and continuous improvement, requiring a strong commercial mindset and close collaboration with both business and tech stakeholders.
This is a newly established role within the domain. You will be responsible for setting the direction, defining ways of working, and establishing clear ownership for the checkout product area, operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Your Responsibilities:
What you will do:

Own and drive the checkout product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and retail trends while providing business expertise within the different checkout solutions

Own the budget and drive business cases by prioritizing investments and evaluating ROI to deliver business and customer value while ensuring long‑term tech sustainability.

Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring delivery of high‑impact features and improvements.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure checkout capabilities meet operational and customer needs.

Act as a key link between brands and technology teams, capturing and defining requirements aligned with business needs.

Secure and manage fit‑for‑purpose checkout hardware, including lifecycle management.

Facilitate workshops, gather feedback, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Monitor product performance using data, KPIs and user feedback to continuously improve the checkout experience across all touchpoints.

Collaborate with suppliers and external partners responsible for end‑to‑end checkout solutions.

Own and drive the ongoing checkout transformation, leading innovation and modernization initiatives.

Stay ahead of checkout trends, competitor benchmarks and emerging technologies, translating insights into long‑term value creation.

Establish the checkout product area within the domain, defining structure, governance, and ways of working in close collaboration with brands, tech and operations.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will collaborate closely with portfolio brand teams, technology and product teams across the domain, store operations and growth teams, as well as external suppliers and partners. The role involves close interaction with senior stakeholders and leadership across brands and technology.
Qualifications

6+ years of experience working with Point‑of‑Sale solutions, retail operations, and customer experience.

Proven ability to build end‑to‑end product strategy, including scope definition, roadmaps and KPIs.

Experience building business cases, managing ROI, budgets and total cost of ownership.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business challenges.

Strong experience collaborating with and managing suppliers and external partners.

This is a full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in Stockholm Sweden
