About this role
As part of our Internal Medicine and Neurology team you will working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.
The Proposal and Contract Manager is responsible for facilitating, overseeing and providing complete business support for the TFS business development team from client meetings to proposal generation and closing of contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end contract processes, including proposals, contracts, and change orders
Act as the key proposals and contracts expert and primary client interface
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, policies, and quality standards
Oversee and support team workload, prioritization, and delivery timelines
Review and ensure high-quality output across proposals, contracts, and change orders
Lead contract and budget negotiations with clients, legal, and internal stakeholders
Provide analysis, recommendations, and negotiation support to leadership and project teams
Maintain clear, proactive communication on status with clients and internal teams
Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand their contractual practices
Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting in CRM (Salesforce)
Lead and facilitate internal and client meetings related to contracts and proposals
Support team development, onboarding, and performance quality
Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and marketing initiatives
Coordinate subcontractor/vendor agreements and support related negotiations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or highly relevant industry experience
Minimum of three years of CRO industry experience and/or proposal writing/budget generation experience
Minimum of three years of clinical research and/or sales experience
Expert level communication/interpersonal skills and team leadership capabilities consistent with influencing and driving multiple stakeholders towards meeting the customer’s needs
Expert level organizational, planning and multitasking skills, as well as a predisposition to entrepreneurship, results and customer focus
Expert level knowledge of TFS / CRO business
Advanced computer competency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Awareness of trends and government policies and regulations in the clinical trials area of TFS Group countries
Ability to work independently and efficiently
