Join STS Group as our next Quantity Surveyor
We are looking for an
Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our projects in Sweden. Part of the Dussmann Group of companies based out of Berlin, STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality practices, this position will play a major role in the delivery of a key project for us in Europe on large-scale industrial and data centre projects.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our heavy industry in Sweden. The successful applicant will work closely with the project leadership team and wider Commercial department to ensure the successful delivery of the projects for our clients and stakeholders.
Some of the Key Tasks
- Provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Commercial Manager
- Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports
- Supporting the management of applicable subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Preparing remeasures and variations for submission and follow-up agreement with our clients
- Reporting on project budgets and variations
- Distribute and track invoices to various project owners/leads for approval
- Respond to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments (including monthly accruals) in a professional and timely manner
Key Qualifications Required:
- Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Trade Qualification or similar
- 5+ years postgraduate experience in the construction sector.
- Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.
- Good communication skills and high computer literacy.
- Full licence and own reliable transport.
