About the position
As Concept Owner, SAP Platform and Basis, you will ensure reliable, secure and efficient SAP platform & basis operations across Oriola’s SAP landscape. You will be working closely with our business stakeholders, IT teams and external service providers to manage technical architecture, landscape availability, maintenance and upgrade plans, backup and recovery, documentation, and compliance activities. This role is key to keeping business-critical SAP processes running smoothly and continuously improving platform performance, stability and service quality.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Strong lead role in SAP Platform and Basis, both in Operations as well as our ERP transformation programme.
- Design and develop the technical architecture based on IT, business and function needs.
- Design and manage maintenance and upgrade roadmaps
- Manage external service providers.
- Translating complex requirements to technology and ensure best fit to purpose solutions for our business and customers.
- Manage technical development backlog and facilitate prioritization discussion with relevant stakeholders.
- Driving simplicity, template solutions and common architecture.
- Ensure compliance of regulation and legal requirements.
- Benchmark and follow technology trends.
- Responsible for Yearly action plans, budget and follow up.
