We are hiring Data Engineer (Azure & Data bricks) for location Stockholm (Hybrid).
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer, 6-9y of experience, to our IT department Asset Analytics Distribution.
Duties are:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks.
- Ingest, transform, and model data from diverse sources to enable reliable analytics and reporting.
- Develop semantic models and create Power BI reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Perform data quality checks, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Document and communicate data engineering processes and outcomes.
- Support data awareness and training initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data
solutions.
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computational Engineering Science, Computer Science, Information Systems,
or related field.
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Data engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python and (including CICD).
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modelling.
- Hands-on experience and confident working with large data volumes is a plus (tables holding trillion of rows ).
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with Power BI.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage Explorer.
- Excellent communication skills Swedish and English
