Your role
We are looking for an experienced Migration Discovery & Assessment Lead who will play a key role in large-scale enterprise transformation and cloud migration initiatives. This role is critical in shaping successful migration programs by creating clarity, structure, and direction at the very start of the journey.
As Migration Discovery & Assessment Lead, you will be responsible for understanding complex enterprise IT landscapes, translating data into insights, and turning those insights into clear, executable migration roadmaps that align technology with business goals.
You will:
- Lead discovery and assessment activities for large enterprise environments, covering applications, infrastructure, platforms, and dependencies
- Collect, structure, and analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources such as CMDBs, discovery tools, workshops, and interviews
- Assess on premises and cloud environments and define target-state migration strategies
- Design and present migration roadmaps, including migration waves, dependencies, risks, recommended migration approaches, and associated cost and TCO considerations
- Translate technical findings into clear, decision-ready proposals, including TCO analysis and migration business cases, for architects, IT leadership, and business stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand what to migrate, how to migrate, and in which order
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business representatives to ensure alignment between technical feasibility, financial viability, and business priorities
