Business Controller Virsbo (1 year assignment)
The Business Controller has the responsibility for all business performance analysis and reporting of the production.
What will you be doing?
- Manage monthly closure process for production site.
- Own the financial forecasting process and budgeting: conversion costs, volumes, material costs, investments and assets, cash flow.
- Carry out CPI calculations, absorption, and COGS analysis.
- Calculate new items (COGS+ITP)
- Support annual reporting
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Authorize manual payments
- Actively collaborate in GF Finance & Controlling community to share information and best practices.
- Participate in Company’s Board meetings and Swedish Management team meetings
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, documentation and financial management within the area of responsibility
- Proactively make recommendations and launch initiatives to improve operational performance as well as Finance & Controlling processes
What will you need?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field (accounting, finance or economics)
- 5 to 8 years of Finance & Controlling experience, preferably from production
- Previous demonstrated people leadership experience
- Experience as a finance business partner with good business acumen
- Exemplary strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
- Strong decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills are essential as well as the ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment
