HGV Tramper - Speke
The job is full time permanent position. All our trucks are Volvo FH with fridge/freezer. The job does require 4 nights out but there are times when the drivers get back to yard during the week and they can go home. But if they stay in the truck they get paid the night out. The job is for Monday to Friday but there might be Saturday run in required by customer sometimes so we ask the drivers to inform office if they need the weekend off. I pay a fixed salary for Monday to Friday and hourly rate on the weekend. We do a lot of work for the paper industry. So it can be paper reels, tissue paper, printing paper, cardboard, baled paper. The rest of the work can be what ever we can carry on our tautliner trailers. We also do a lot of work from Immingham and Hull docks where we collect loaded trailers and deliver to customers. When empty we reload the trailer again and drop it back off at the dock.
