Ordinary Seaman (OS) – RORO/ROPAX, Sweden
**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced and reliable Ordinary Seaman to join a RORO/ROPAX vessel under Danish (DIS) flag trading from Sweden. The OS will assist the deck team in daily deck operations, seamanship work and watchkeeping duties to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Perform lookout duties and assist on bridge when required
- Carry out routine deck maintenance (chipping, painting, cleaning)
- Assist with cargo and vehicle operations on RORO/ROPAX deck
- Handle ropes, wires, fenders and deck equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in drills
- Keep decks, passageways and work areas clean and safe
**Requirements**
- Proven sea service as Ordinary Seaman (OS) on RORO/ROPAX or similar vessel
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per international standards
- Good working knowledge of basic seamanship and deck operations
- Able to communicate clearly in English, spoken and written
- Willingness to work in a team and follow instructions
- Available to join in Sweden under Danish (DIS) flag
