High Voltage Project Manager at atNorth
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced High Voltage Project Manager to join our Development team in Sollefteå.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of critical high-voltage infrastructure projects supporting atNorth's expanding data center portfolio. Acting as the client representative, you will manage projects from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning, and operational handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to some of the most advanced digital infrastructure projects in the Nordics while working at the intersection of data centers and energy infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle delivery of high-voltage infrastructure projects, including substations, grid connections, and associated electrical systems.
Act as the primary client representative throughout project execution.
Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
Manage contractors, consultants, utility providers, and technical partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate tendering processes, technical evaluations, contract negotiations, and procurement activities.
Ensure successful delivery of long-lead electrical equipment and critical infrastructure components.
Monitor project costs, forecasts, and change management processes to maintain financial control.
Oversee construction and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with utility companies, local authorities, and external stakeholders to secure project milestones and approvals.
Ensure structured documentation, project governance, and successful handover to Operations.
Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery.
Your profile:
Proven experience managing large-scale high-voltage infrastructure, power transmission, utility, renewable energy, industrial, or data center projects.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Strong understanding of HV systems, substations, grid connections, and electrical infrastructure projects.
Experience managing contractors, consultants, procurement processes, and project budgets.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills.
Experience within the data center industry is beneficial but not required.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is considered an advantage.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to be based on-site in Sollefteå as required by project needs.
