We are now looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team for Vattenfall. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of one of Sweden’s strongest brands while working closely with both the client and your colleagues at Folket. You will be part of a creative team where everyone contributes and plays an important role.
Folket is centrally located on Götgatsbacken in Södermalm, Stockholm, where we share our office with our sister agencies Tillsammans and Kompis. Altogether, we are around 120 employees across the group.
The team will consists of a Senior Production Manager / Teamlead, Senior Social Media Manager and a Visual Content Creator. The team splits its time between Folket’s office on Götgatan and Vattenfall’s headquarters in Solna.
THE ROLE
As Social Media Manager, you execute on the social media content for Vattenfall owned channels by creating relevant, engaging, brand-building and influencing communication.
You have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the social media channels where you plan, publish and follow up on both organic and paid content. In the role you also have responsibility for boosting social content, where you plan, set up and optimise campaigns.
Informing the client’s community management teams about planned social media activities and opportunities to actively engage with target audiences. In addition, you are responsible for executing and reporting on social media metrics together with the Senior Social Media Manager to support further optimisation of content and strategy.
You stay up to date on trends, behaviours and changes across the platforms and actively contribute to developing how Vattenfall works with social media. The role involves close collaboration with both the team and the client where you are an important part of ensuring quality and relevance in all communication.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with good operational expertise in social media who thrives in a role where you combine structure, analysis and content.
You have experience working with creating and publishing, campaign management and performance follow-up. You have a data-driven approach and feel confident analysing results and translating insights into concrete improvements. You are a skilled writer with the ability to adapt tone of voice according to target audience, social media channel and purpose.
You have a good understanding of both organic and paid content and know how they work together to create impact. You are used to collaborating with agencies and external partners where you are comfortable collaborating and coordinating work
As a person you are structured, self-driven and solution-oriented. You also have an eye for detail and a strong understanding of what drives engagement on social media. You are curious about developments within the field and see AI and new tools as a natural part of improving ways of working and enhancing results.
You are a team player who thrives in collaboration with others while also being self-sufficient and comfortable driving your work forward independently.
COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
Mandatory
At least 5 years of experience working with social media in an operational role
Experience in channel management, publishing and content optimisation
Experience working with paid social campaigns
Experience working across all relevant social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
Experience in creating content for social media
Strong writing skills with experience in different tones of voice and target audiences
Understanding of how organic and paid content work together
Experience working with external partners or agencies
Experience with AI tools within analysis, content, or production
Fluent in Swedish and English
Relevant education
Beneficial
- German and/or Dutch language skills
- Experience working with international brands
