You will work with preclinical and clinical development and evaluation of new radioligands and quantification methods, and also conduct clinical studies and drug trials where imaging technology plays a crucial role in evaluating effects on the underlying biology.
The work includes:
-
Organizing and conducting preclinical and clinical studies, clinical trials, and method development projects using imaging technology.
-
Being responsible for analysis of data in academic and industry-sponsored studies.
-
Being responsible for supervising students.

Being responsible for writing and seeking grants to cover research costs, administrative fees, indirect costs, and salary costs.
-
Collaborating in national and international research networks.
The employment as Assistant Professor is time limited for 4 years with the right to apply for promotion to Senior Lecturer.
Those eligible for employment as an Assistant Professor are individuals who have been awarded a PhD or attained equivalent research competence. Preference should be given to those who were awarded a PhD or attained equivalent research competence no more than seven years, normally, prior to the expiry of the application period for the position as assistant professor.
Those who have been awarded a PhD or attained equivalent research competence earlier may however be considered if special grounds exist.
