Role Overview
We are seeking a Functional OneStream Solution Lead to drive the evolution and optimisation of a mature, enterprise-scale OneStream environment supporting financial consolidation, management reporting, and operational forecasting. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will work directly with Finance leadership to design solutions, configure the platform, and ensure the system continues to meet ambitious business requirements across multiple functions. The role acts as the functional bridge between Group Finance and technical teams, translating the needs of the business over to OneStream architects and developers.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Group Finance to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective system solutions
Clear and structured documentation of Actuals reporting processes and related OneStream configurations
Design and configure OneStream solutions to meet evolving business requirements across consolidation, reporting, and forecasting
Conduct functional specifications and impact assessments for proposed system changes and enhancements
Document system configurations, reporting processes, and technical specifications to ensure traceability and knowledge transfer
Analyse business needs and proactively recommend enhancements leveraging OneStream's latest capabilities and industry best practices
Support change management processes, ensuring system accuracy, reliability, and adherence to governance standards
Contribute to governance frameworks and process standardisation across reporting activities
Participate in OneStream change initiatives, supporting OneStream SMEs and the technical team in delivering to their business stakeholders
Conduct post-change evaluations and provide insights and recommendations through performance monitoring
Monitor system performance and provide third-level support by troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
Maintain awareness of new OneStream releases and assess opportunities for platform enhancement
Develop training materials and provide guidance to end users to drive adoption and effectiveness
Candidate Profile
5+ years' experience working with EPM systems in a technical or functional capacity
Previous experience with Group Accounting or financial consolidation processes within an EPM platform
Strong working knowledge of OneStream (e.g. multi-cube environments) is valuable
Proven ability to translate business requirements into system designs and configurations
Solid understanding of financial consolidation, management reporting, and forecasting processes
Experience documenting technical solutions and creating functional specifications
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Background in a Controller or Finance role within an international organisation is beneficial
