We are hiring Senior Cloud Engineer for Stockholm, Sweden (Onsite).
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with high ownership, short decision-making cycles, and close collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams. The engineering organization is intentionally lean, meaning every team member has a significant impact on technical solutions, platform scalability, and product innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, backend engineering, and distributed systems, with hands-on experience building scalable and reliable cloud-native applications.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Strong expertise in Node.js and backend application development
- Solid experience working with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of distributed systems and scalable system design principles
- Experience designing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-native applications and services
- Strong understanding of modern backend architecture and API development
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices, preferably using GitHub Actions
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables
- Experience in fintech, banking, or other high-stakes environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Python, Go, or GraphQL
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows
- Experience working in rapidly scaling product organizations
