To support our project and customer operations, we are looking for a structured and customer-focused Projects Technician. In this role, you will prepare project proposals and quotations, provide technical and project-related support, and ensure that customers and partners receive accurate, timely and professional assistance across all relevant channels.
You will work closely with colleagues in sales, technical support and project teams, supporting customers from the initial request through to proposal, quotation and follow-up.
Key responsibilities
- Create project proposals for customers based on information gathered from tenders, customers, consultants and colleagues in sales.
- Prepare quotations based on project proposals, as well as direct quotation requests from wholesalers.
- Provide technical and project-related support to customers, consultants, installers, wholesalers and partners, primarily by phone and email.
- Manage and follow up incoming requests through the relevant mailboxes, ensuring that customers receive a reply within 24 hours.
- Ensure customer requests are handled within the required deadlines, and proactively seek alternative solutions when deadlines cannot be met.
- Register all projects as opportunities in the CRM system and ensure that all relevant project documentation is stored correctly in Dropbox or SharePoint, according to the agreed folder structure.
- Ensure that every project proposal follows internal guidelines and contains all relevant technical and commercial information.
- Keep your calendar up to date with planned project proposals, deadlines and relevant tasks to enable smooth collaboration with colleagues.
- Carry out all assignments with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and structure, ensuring that documentation is thorough, well-organized and systematically maintained.
- Strive for error-free results while continuously looking for ways to improve processes and ways of working.
- Ensure a positive and professional customer experience in every interaction, including project follow-up and telephone support.
- Support colleagues internally and externally, contributing to strong teamwork and efficient collaboration.
