Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior ETL Developer with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter to join our Data & Analytics team in the banking domain. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality ETL solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Manage and maintain Oracle and DB2 databases
- Build and execute data integration workflows using Informatica PowerExchange
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Provide operational support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Participate in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- Proficiency in writing complex and optimized SQL queries
- Solid experience working with Oracle databases
- Familiarity with DB2 databases
- Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Experience with Informatica PowerExchange
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Familiarity with OPC / TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler)
- Working knowledge of mainframe systems
- Experience in production support and operational handling
- Strong understanding of business processes and data requirements
