Position Title: SWIM Resolution Engineer
Duration: Contract
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Description of the assignment
- An issue resolution engineer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues that arise in various vehicle programs during testing.
- The role involves a structured approach to addressing issues, ensuring they are properly documented, analyzed, and resolved.
- Key responsibilities include SW Verification at Lindholmen.
- Working closely together with the China team
- Identifying and analyzing issues: Using various techniques and tools to identify issues and analyze their root causes. Implementing sustainable solutions and preventing recurring issues
- Implementing solutions: Evaluating and selecting solutions, implementing them, and verifying and validating the results.
- Collaborating with teams: Partnering with teams like products, operations, or engineering to find permanent fixes. Contribute to implementation of agreed verification plans and test.
- Reporting test progress to the test leader and project team. But also identify and escalate verification risks to management
- Contribute to a culture of improvement and participating in implementing improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Qualifications and skills required for the role
- B.Sc. Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.
- Mandatory Mandarin (Chinese) speaking and writing
- 4 years' experience in automotive embedded systems development
- Verification experience of automotive test or system development
- High communication skills and high collaboration ability
- Strong test analysis skills
Driving license for Sweden
Personal attributes
- Interest in cars and experience in driving
- Strong test analysis skills
- Cultural awareness, especially China - European culture
- Good in English (spoken and written)
- Travels to for participating in expeditions and workshops is expected
IT/SW requirements (if applicable)
- Vector tools like CANoe or CANalyzer
