Job Description Summary
The Associate Director – Industrial Leasing is a senior client-facing brokerage role responsible for driving leasing transactions, developing strategic client relationships, and strengthening Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial platform in Sweden.
The role combines business development, transaction leadership, market advisory, and team contribution, with accountability for commercial performance, client outcomes, and market presence. The Associate Director acts as a trusted advisor to landlords, occupiers, and investors across industrial and logistics assets, contributing to revenue growth, repeat business, and long-term client partnerships.
Job Description
Client Advisory & Transaction Execution
Lead end-to-end industrial leasing transactions for landlord and occupier clients, ensuring high-quality execution and commercial discipline
Advise clients on leasing strategy, structure, timing, and risk, supported by market intelligence and financial analysis
Manage negotiations, Heads of Terms, and coordination through to deal completion
Act as the primary day-to-day client contact on assigned instructions
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Proactively originate new leasing instructions through client relationship management, canvassing, and opportunity identification
Build and grow a sustainable personal and team pipeline aligned with the Industrial business plan
Contribute to pitches, proposals, fee negotiations, and mandate shaping
Develop repeat and referral business through exceptional client service
Market Intelligence & Positioning
Maintain deep understanding of the Swedish industrial and logistics market, including rental levels, occupier demand, supply pipeline, and investor trends
Provide structured market insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Represent Cushman & Wakefield externally through networking, industry events, and client forums
Support the positioning of the Industrial team as a market leader
Team Contribution & Collaboration
Actively contribute to the performance and development of the Industrial Leasing team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and informal coaching
Support junior team members on complex assignments as required
Work closely with Capital Markets, Valuation, Research, Project & Development Services, and other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
Adhere to internal governance, compliance, and risk management standards
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in industrial leasing, commercial real estate, or a similar role
Demonstrated experience in leasing transactions, including negotiations and deal execution
Strong network within the Swedish industrial and logistics property market
Experience working with landlords, occupiers, and investors
Proven business development skills and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across different business areas
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
