Be part of a team that ensures world-class banknote and substrate production consistently meets the highest customer expectations. As the key quality interface between Crane and external partners, you will translate customer requirements into clear, controlled standards and oversee that all outsourced production fully aligns with Crane’s commitments, quality standards, and customer needs. Working closely with Supply Chain and Sales, you’ll play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction while fostering a strong, quality-focused culture across partner sites. Participate in bid, quotation, and contract management processes to ensure customer quality expectations are clearly defined
Ensure accurate and complete transfer of product and quality requirements to partners
Coordinate with Crane OPS and cross-functional teams as required
Plan and conduct quality approvals and audits at partner manufacturing sites
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, PFMEA, MSA, control plans, and QIP
Monitor supplier performance and product conformity
Escalate quality or risk concerns through appropriate leadership channels
Promote collaborative relationships with internal teams, partner sites, and other Crane Currency locations
Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or similar discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in manufacturing or quality management
Quality data collection and analysis
Statistical methods (SPC, DOE, Gage R&R, sampling techniques)
Measurement and inspection methods
Documentation of product properties and requirements
Experience in global, cross-cultural, multi-site environments
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Strong verbal and written skills in English
Additional languages are an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with SharePoint and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, IFS, SAP)
Preferred:
Specialized training in quality engineering or supplier quality management.
Experience in banknote substrate, printing, or high-security document industries
