We are looking for a summer worker for our Forwarding Department in Gothenburg as a Forwarding Assistant / Order Administrator, with the potential for future hourly employment.
About the Role
In the Forwarding Department, you will join a team of seven forwarding agents who work closely together, sharing knowledge and supporting one another. The role requires a strong service mindset, flexibility, and the ability to handle a wide range of tasks in a dynamic environment.
As a Forwarding Assistant / Order Administrator, you will be responsible for booking and coordinating courier, air, sea, and road shipments to destinations worldwide. Your tasks include interpreting shipping instructions, communicating deviations to order handlers, and ensuring compliance with agreed payment and delivery terms.
You will also work with:
Letter of Credit presentations to banks
Freight quotations and price inquiries
Invoicing of freight charges
Export document control and review
Reporting and statistics
Employment Period
This position is a full-time summer role from July to August 2026, with the possibility of continued part-time hourly employment thereafter.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to strictly follow instructions and templates. You should also be able to maintain an overview of processes and proactively report and act when deviations occur.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, structure, and teamwork are essential. You communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, as Swedish is used internally and English is used with customers and international partners.
Requirements
Meritorious (Nice to Have)
Education in Logistics, Transport, or Supply Chain Management
Good understanding of Incoterms
Experience with courier, air, sea, and/or road freight bookings
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations)
Knowledge of Letter of Credit handling and bank presentations
Experience with Dangerous Goods (DGR) regulations
