With rapid growth and a bold roadmap ahead, we’re looking for a new Account Manager (Customer Success) in Sweden to join our central team and take commercial ownership of a portfolio of existing customers in a scalable, high-volume environment.
In this role, your main focus will be on our Swedish Public Sector portfolio (municipalities, regions, and agencies). We are looking for an organized and systematic professional who can balance high-speed commercial activities with the strategic patience required for public sector success. While the formal title is Customer Success Manager, this is a commercially driven Account Manager role with clear business responsibility for renewals, expansion, and long-term customer value. As an Account Manager (Customer Success) with a public sector focus, you will take commercial ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, focusing on retention, expansion, and long-term value creation. You will work in a scaled customer model, balancing high-volume portfolio management with strategic account development.
This is a sales-side commercial role. While you will collaborate closely with delivery-side Account Managers and Service Managers, you won't be involved in project execution. Your focus is the commercial relationship: renewals, growth opportunities, and strategic account planning within framework agreements and LOU-compliant contracts.

✔ Own commercial outcomes – Drive renewals and expansion revenue across a high-volume portfolio with clear accountability for retention and expansion targets.

B2B SaaS/PaaS Account Management Expertise – 5+ years of relevant experience in account management, customer success, or sales. You have a strong commercial mindset and are comfortable owning renewals and expansion.
Ability to Manage Many Accounts – You are systematic and disciplined in your approach. You can prioritize effectively across a broad portfolio, ensuring that you manage multiple priorities without losing sight of risks or follow-ups.
Public Sector Motion – Experience with Swedish public sector customers, LOU, or framework agreements is a strong advantage. A genuine motivation to build and deepen expertise in this segment is essential.
Knowledge & Curiosity towards Technical Solutions – Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS, ideally iPaaS, and an interest in integration technology, APIs, and data sovereignty.
Great Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Skills – You can engage CIOs, Digitalization Leads, and business leaders in renewal and expansion conversations, handle high-stakes negotiations, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to support your customers.
Superb Listening Skills – You must understand and empathize with our customers' pain points with a solution- and value-based mindset.
Familiarity with High-Impact Sales Methodologies – Knowledge of MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales, or similar value-based selling frameworks.
A university degree is preferred.
Logistics: The role requires fluency in Swedish and professional English, as well as living in Sweden with a valid work permit. We support a hybrid work model, but we also prefer you visiting our Stockholm office (Katarinavägen) weekly/monthly to ensure smooth collaboration and team spirit.
Traveling is required to meet the team, internal stakeholders, customers, and to attend key industry events. Our central CSM team members are currently located in Sweden and Finland, and our sales kick-offs are held in Finland twice a year. This means you will also have opportunities to visit Finland and our Frends headquarters, too.
