This Laboratory Technician position is available in the laboratory headed by Professor Martin Jastroch. Main resposibilities are genotyping of different zebrafish models and molecular biological methods such as genotyping, tissue processing, isolating RNA, protein as well as qPCRs, Western Blot and immunohistochemistry, tissue cell culture and handling of zebrafish.
We are looking for someone with practical and theoretical knowledge in molecular biology (Labratory assistant, Bachelor-, Master Degree). High motivation, ability to work independently as well as in a team and good english skills are required. FELASA certificate, as well as routine with zebrafish is advantageous.
This is a time-limited full time position for 6 months. Salaries at Stockholm University are determined individually. Start date 2026-09-01 or as per agreement.
