We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to provide proactive and hands-on HR support across Sweden. The role will support managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters including onboarding, offboarding, contracts and amendments, benefits administration, employee documentation, absence management, payroll input validation, and HR compliance.
In addition to operational HR responsibilities, this role will partner closely with managers on employee relations matters, including performance issues, disciplinary processes, grievances, absence concerns, probation reviews, and other workplace issues of moderate complexity. The HRBP will ensure that cases are managed consistently, appropriately documented, and in line with local labor laws, internal policies, and company values, escalating more complex matters where needed.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business, is highly organized, and can balance strategic partnering with operational excellence. The HRBP will work closely with regional and global HR colleagues, payroll, benefits, legal, and business leaders to deliver a high-quality employee experience and support business objectives across the region.
Main Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering

Partner with managers across Sweden on day-to-day people matters and HR processes

Provide practical HR guidance on employee lifecycle matters, team issues, and policy application

Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and team structure updates

Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, delivering timely and pragmatic HR support
Employee Relations
Manage and support employee relations cases of low to medium complexity, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance issues, attendance concerns, probation follow-up, and conduct matters
Guide managers through investigations, documentation, conversations, and follow-up actions in line with company policy and local legislation
Ensure ER matters are handled sensitively, consistently, and with appropriate escalation of high-risk or complex issues
Partner with legal, senior HR, and external advisors where required
HR Operations & Administration
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with local and overseas stakeholders
Prepare and manage employment contracts, amendments, confirmation letters, and other employee documentation
Monitor internal promotions, salary changes, transfers, and other employment updates
Manage probationary period tracking and ensure timely follow-up with managers
Handle leave of absence and sick leave cases and support managers with absence processes
Support payroll administration by validating HR input and ensuring data accuracy prior to payroll processing
Maintain employee files and HR systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality
Support reporting to local authorities and completion of mandatory surveys and social reporting requirements
Prepare headcount reports, dashboards, and other HR metrics as needed
Benefits, Vendors and Compliance
Support local benefits administration and act as a key contact for vendors and brokers across the region
Coordinate with regional or global compensation and benefits teams on benefit harmonization, renewals, and local updates
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, HR policies, and administrative requirements across the supported countries
Monitor legislative or regulatory changes and help implement required updates to HR practices and documentation
Projects and Continuous Improvement

Contribute to regional HR projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Help drive consistency and best practice across countries while respecting local requirements

Support employee engagement initiatives, workshops, survey follow-up actions, and other local people activities
Qualifications
Degree, diploma, or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Several years of progressive HR experience, including generalist/operational HR and employee relations exposure
Good working knowledge of local HR practices and employment law principles, with the ability to navigate country-specific requirements
Experience handling employee relations matters independently, with sound judgment on when to escalate
Strong HR administration and operational capability with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working with HR systems, reporting, and payroll-related processes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills such as Swedish would be an advantage
Able to manage competing priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in a complex international environment
High level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
