Do you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a curiosity to understand how complex systems truly behave? Do you thrive in environments where you can switch seamlessly between hands‑on technical exploration and big‑picture thinking? If you’re motivated by ensuring that software performs flawlessly in real‑world, life‑critical scenarios, then this role is for you.
Sectra’s Amplifier group is expanding, and we are looking for a quality‑driven software engineer who loves building trustworthy, high‑performing systems just as much as uncovering potential pitfalls. Our team develops Amplifier Services, a cloud‑based SaaS offering that brings AI applications into clinical workflows globally. Your mindset and skills will help ensure that radiologists, clinicians, and patients can rely on our AI‑powered solutions every day.
What You Will Do
Champion quality throughout the development cycle, using both engineering expertise and AI‑assisted analysis to ensure robustness, performance, and reliability in cloud‑based medical imaging solutions.
Investigate system behavior across distributed services – zooming in to catch subtle defects and zooming out to understand end‑to‑end clinical flows.
Represent the voice of the end‑user: anticipating their needs, frustrations, and expectations.
Explore scalability, performance, and resource efficiency through hands‑on experimentation, AI‑supported load modeling, and automated performance prediction.
Develop and refine test strategies, frameworks, and automation scripts – leveraging AI to generate smart test cases, prioritize risks, and accelerate validation.
Push observability to the next level by working with metrics, logs, traces, and diagnostics.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, operations engineers, and clinical experts.
Contribute to continuous learning – evaluating new tools, AI‑powered quality techniques, and modern engineering practices
