Company overview
Comminution Reimagined Sweden AB (“CRS”) is a dynamic start-up company developing a breakthrough new technology for the mining industry. The company is based in Gothenburg, Sweden and has an active pilot on a mine site in Northern Sweden.
CRS was formed in 2019 to develop and commercialize a new process and technology for the crushing and milling of rock ores in the mineral processing industry (the technical name for this is comminution). The process dramatically reduces energy use and the overall environmental footprint of mining. CRS is consequently positioned to become an essential enabler in the mining industry’s transition to the green economy. The technology has been proven at a laboratory and pilot scale and the company’s next phase includes production scale testing and the first commercial installations.
