The position is located at the Department of Organismal Biology, part of the Evolutionary Biology Centre (EBC). The department has approximately 100 employees, and research spans developmental biology, systematics, evolution, and physiology in living organisms
Duties
-
Prepare and structure a database containing data from hundreds of stem cell transplantations performed in different regions of the brain.

Organize a communication network with all researchers involved in these studies.

Extract new information from each study, with a particular focus on the sex of donor cells.

Summarize and analyse all newly collected information.

Prepare a scientific manuscript for publication.
Requirements

A PhD degree in developmental biology or a closely related field that the employer deems equivalent.

Documented experience in culturing and differentiating stem cells.

Strong knowledge of stem cell biology.

Experience in data compilation, statistical analysis, and preparation of scientific publications.

IT skills relevant for database management.

Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is a requirement.
Emphasis will also be placed on personal qualities. The individual should demonstrate independence, it should take initiative, is goal‑ and results‑oriented, and communicates effectively both orally and in writing. Furthermore, it is important that you have a structured way of working.
