About Nanchang Mineral Systems (NMS)
NMS has its business focused on mineral processing, quarrying, and bulk material handling. The company was founded in 1970 and is now one of China’s leading suppliers of screening and crushing equipment. The product line includes giant mining screens, several types of crushers, sand making plants, and both track mounted and wheeled mobile units. NMS has its main production location in South China, Nanchang City, where it employs over 1000 people. The company is now looking at becoming a leader in crushing and screening technology and part of this effort is the investment in the Swedish Research Center.
NMS Research Center Sweden
We are a knowledge driven research organization. The company is located in Malmö, Skåne. The center is focused on being the research and innovation part of NMS with the purpose to develop new crushing and screening solutions. The company has already produced several innovations and technologies that are in various states of implementation. We are currently working in areas such as Automation, Modeling and Simulaition, Structural Mechanics and Software Development.
Job aim
Your main responsibility is to assist in some of our development project, this stretches from HMI development for our automation system to working with product documentation. The work includes design of graphical elements, HMI design, document template design, and systemizing the documents to ensure future updates and further development can be done efficiently. You will also participate in multidisciplinary research where competences in signal processing, mechanical design and crushing and screening cooperate to develop new innovations. Work can be remote or on-site.
Applicant
We are looking for someone with a good eye for graphical design that can assist in some of our projects. You can be fresh from a relevant education or have some work experience. We are flexible when it comes to what tools to use but we require that you have the knowledge to decide what works best in for the different project. This position is time limited to no more than 5 months.
You are comfortable speaking and writing in English. Knowledge in Swedish and/or Chinese is beneficial.
