Aplex Bio is at the forefront of advanced molecular testing, delivering platform technologies that expand capabilities in precision genomics, molecular diagnostics, and high-frequency biological screening. Hyperplex PCR, the company’s next-generation platform, introduces a new paradigm in molecular measurement by combining multiplexed detection, molecular counting, and single-nucleotide discrimination in a single workflow. The platform delivers digital-like single-copy sensitivity while scaling to 100+ targets per well, addressing limitations in plex, precision, and cost-efficiency that constrain both traditional PCR and sequencing technologies. Aplex Bio is dedicated to advancing the next generation of molecular diagnostics and enabling technologies for population-scale applications that can contribute to improved healthcare outcomes worldwide. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
We are seeking a scientist to (1) support the development and optimization of customized Hyperplex PCR panels spanning a variety of high impact biological applications and (2) support ongoing R&D developments of new product lines. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Scientific Officer and be involved in the improvement and optimization and validation workflows; hands-on experimentation; systematic critical data analysis and documentation, as well as operational logistics of procuring reagents and assembly of the final kit product. The position is ideal for an action-driven problem solver who thrives in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced start-up environment. We are seeking someone with exceptional attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, and a strong commitment to precise documentation. Your ability to follow data documentation guidelines to the letter, and maintain an organized, detail-oriented approach in all tasks, will be critical in ensuring success. If you pride yourself on your attention to the smallest details and have a passion for keeping things structured and well-documented, this is the perfect role for you.
