We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team in Stockholm. In this role, you will be part of delivering modern, scalable, and high-performing backend solutions for client projects in complex enterprise environments.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, QA engineers, and fellow developers, to design, build, and maintain robust Java-based applications. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using Java

Build and enhance REST APIs and microservices for enterprise-level applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver technical solutions

Participate in architecture and technical design discussions

Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and development best practices

Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance and reliability

Contribute to Agile ceremonies and work closely with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in Java development

Solid experience with Spring Boot

Experience building REST APIs and microservices

Strong experience with Java frameworks for persistence, messaging, and queueing in both legacy and cloud-based environments

Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, as well as data lake technologies

Experience working in Agile environments

Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work
Nice to have:
