Business Development Manager – Nordics (Denmark / Sweden/ Finland/ Norway)

Our client is an international, family-owned industrial company specialising in electrical speciality cables and braided sleeving solutions. Known for its strong focus on innovation and quality, the company develops increasingly effective products for demanding environments.
Its solutions are used across a wide range of industries, including aeronautics and defence, rail, marine and shipbuilding, robotics and automation, electromechanical applications, and household appliances.
As part of their continued international growth, they are now strengthening their presence in the Nordic region.
REGION:
The role is based in the Nordic region, with a preference for candidates located in Sweden or Denmark. The geographical scope includes Sweden and Denmark, with potential responsibility for Finland and Norway.
This is a field-based role involving regular travel within the region. Travel planning is managed independently, allowing flexibility and ownership in how customer meetings and activities are organised.
TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will take the lead in building and developing the local market presence. You will act as the company’s representative in the Nordics, with a strong focus on identifying opportunities, initiating conversations, and creating long-term business relationships.
Develop and grow the customer base within the assigned Nordic market
Open doors with new clients and establish relationships with key decision-makers
Act as the local “eyes and ears” of the market, identifying trends, needs, and opportunities
Conduct regular customer visits and manage your own pipeline of prospects and ongoing discussions
Work closely with internal sales support and technical teams, who provide expertise in quotations, product solutions, and follow-up
Contribute to shaping the commercial approach based on insights from the market
Weekly reporting of the visits to the Sales Director, using the internal tools
PROFILE:
We are looking for a commercially driven and curious individual who enjoys working independently and building something from the ground up. This role is less about deep engineering expertise and more about understanding customer challenges, asking the right questions, and creating trust.
You are someone who can open doors, engage with different stakeholders, and translate customer needs into business opportunities – supported by a highly experienced technical team.
Experience in B2B sales, ideally within technical or industrial environments
Strong ability to build relationships and develop new business
Confident in approaching new clients and creating opportunities from scratch
A consultative mindset – you listen, challenge, and understand client needs
Comfortable navigating technical discussions, with support from internal experts when needed
Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and structured in your way of working
Fluent in English and:
- Swedish (for Sweden-based candidates)
- Danish (for Denmark-based candidates)
Motivated to travel within the Nordic region and manage your own schedule
SALARY / RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Salary indication:
50k DKK / month
70k SEK / month
Salary according to the range above, plus bonus and local benefits.
