Job Overview
The Cloud Security Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions across our digital ecosystem. You will move beyond basic monitoring to engineer automated defenses and secure cloud-native environments. Your goal is to ensure our infrastructure is secure by design and resilient against sophisticated, AI-driven threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure Infrastructure Design: Architect and deploy Zero-Trust environments and secure cloud configurations (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Detection Engineering: Create and fine-tune detection rules within SIEM/SOAR platforms to identify anomalies and potential breaches.
- AI Security: Monitor and protect AI/ML model pipelines against adversarial attacks, such as prompt injection or data poisoning.
- Incident Response: Serve as a technical lead during high-priority security incidents, performing root-cause analysis and forensic investigations.
- Vulnerability Management: Lead continuous automated scanning and prioritize remediation based on real-world risk and threat intelligence.
Required Technical Skills
- Cloud Security Cloud-native security tools, Kubernetes, and Container security.
- Automation Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Networking Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW).
- Experience with enterprise Security Operations platforms, including SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Vulnerability Management solutions.
- Frameworks NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC2, and MITRE ATT&CK.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3–5+ years in a technical security role, with a proven track record of building rather than just monitoring systems.
- Preferred Certifications:
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer OR
CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent security-focused credentials
Professional Cloud Architect (is a plus)
