AirForestry is transforming forestry through an autonomous, electric, 6 meter drone harvesting system that harvests and extracts trees from the air, unlocking billions in forest value and gigatons more carbon stored in trees.
Our team of 40 include world leaders in forestry machine automation, aviation, safety-critical hardware & industrial scale-up. As we continue to scale our technology and commercial operations, we need a sharp, driven individual to join us in Uppsala — someone who gets things done, moves fast, and thrives close to the action.
This is a high-performing role, not a senior one. You will work directly with our CEO and the leadership team — working across the full breadth of the business — owning what needs to get done and making sure nothing falls through.
You will work across all verticals, from structuring leadership meetings and following up on internal projects, to supporting investor relations and owning projects. Some weeks you'll be deep in a pitch deck; others you'll be coordinating an investor day or keeping board prep on track.
This role calls for sharp thinking, real bandwidth, and the kind of person who plans their own week without being asked.
Act as the CEO’s right hand across a wide range of topics and tasks.
Prepare, structure, and actively participate in leadership team meetings
Drive and support internal projects — from grant applications to business development
Maintain and develop the company-wide execution frameworks
Support investor relations: plan and project-manage investor days and communications
Assist with fundraising including pitch decks and quick responses to investors
Support board meetings and AGMs — including keeping materials and process on track
To thrive here, you're someone who picks up complex information fast, spots problems others miss, and turns that into action — without needing to be told twice. You're genuinely curious, a bit relentless, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
3+ years of experience from being a founder, building a scale-up, management consulting, VC, or a similarly broad and demanding environment close to leadership
Near-native fluency in both Swedish and English — written and spoken
Sharp, structured thinking — you don't settle for the first or most convenient explanation
Self-direction — you set your own goals, break down complex tasks, and drive them to completion
You operate across many workstreams at once, with the self-discipline and ability to prioritize.
A strong academic background.
It's a plus if you have a genuine interest in forestry, deep tech, or simply have gone unusually deep into something — anything, really.
Real impact: Our technology drastically improves working conditions for forest operators — and contributes to a healthier planet.
Learn from founders: You'll work directly with Caroline, a highly respected serial founder and deep tech leader, as well as world leading domain experts and top tier investors such as our Chairman, Northzone’s General Partner Pär-Jörgen Pärson. This is a rare opportunity to learn in close proximity to some of Europe’s top operators.
Our culture: We are quality-oriented, fact-based, kind, and open. We focus on results and make sure to have fun along the way.
The setup: We are office-first and based in Uppsala and you are expected to be in Uppsala most of the time.
If you want to build one of the world’s most important robotics platforms and make forests more productive and resilient — we look forward to hearing from you.
We will be highly selective to find the right person for this role. Interview invitations will be limited and intentional. Not being invited to an interview is not a reflection of capability. This role requires an exceptional match in mindset, experience, and working style.
We aim to move quickly on this role and hope to close before 3 July. If you're interested, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
