At RevolutionRace, we’re shaking up the outdoor industry with colorful, innovative, and durable outdoor clothing and gear that are just as affordable as they are high-performing!
Join the adventure! We’re looking for an experienced Pattern Maker to join our product team — someone who takes pride in getting the fit right and understands that the difference between a good garment and a great one often comes down to the pattern.
About the Role
You’ll be the link between design intent and production reality. Working closely with our Designers and Product Development Coordinators in a cross-functional team, you’ll own the pattern work from initial design brief through to a production-ready result — making sure fit, function, and construction choices hold up all the way to the finished garment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is technically sharp, communicates clearly with both internal teams and suppliers, and genuinely cares about how a garment performs in the field. You report to the Category Manager.
Tasks & Key responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and quality-assure patterns and measurement lists for new and existing products.
- Build patterns from scratch based on design briefs, ensuring correct fit, proportions, and grading across size scales.
- Simulate garments in CLO3D early in the development process to validate fit and design intent before physical samples.
- Participate actively in fit sessions together with Product Development Coordinator, driving pattern-related adjustments through to resolution.
- Optimize patterns for production efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
- Maintain accurate measurement data and product information in Centric (PLM).
- Coordinate directly with suppliers on pattern and construction details when needed.
Who are you?
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven — you notice what others miss and hold a high standard across all deliverables.
- Structured and self-driven — you keep your work moving forward and stay on top of timelines and versions.
- A clear communicator who can translate technical requirements into plain language for designers, PDCs, and suppliers alike.
- Collaborative and low-ego — you thrive as part of a tight-knit, cross-functional team.
- Genuinely interested in outdoor and functional garments — you understand how a product is used and let that inform how you construct it.
- Proactively challenges the status quo and looks for ways to improve tools, processes, and ways of working.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years of documented experience in pattern making, preferably within outdoor, sport, or technical garments.
- Proven proficiency in Lectra or equivalent digital pattern-making software (5+ years).
- Hands-on experience with CLO3D or equivalent 3D simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of fit, fabric behavior, and how construction choices affect production and manufacturability.
- Experience working in a PLM system such as Centric.
- Basic Illustrator skills for technical construction drawings is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
