Own Sweden's largest untapped growth market and turn energy-market complexity into new business for a brand the industry already trusts.
Sweden is the single biggest new-logo opportunity across the Nordics for this energy market intelligence provider, and this role exists to capture it. Working across a roughly 50/50 blend of outbound hunting and inbound leads, you will drive toward a 2026 Swedish new-business target of around €500k ARR while growing a base of 130-140 existing customers. Deals typically close within two to three months, ranging from ~€12k entry-level contracts up to six-figure enterprise accounts. This is a genuine builder's mandate in a market where the ceiling is high and the brand is respected.
You will be part of a close-knit Nordic sales team of five, each owning their own country, led by a manager who describes her style as calm, collected, and focused on people thriving. Although the team sits across different countries, they speak often and share a flat, open Scandinavian culture built on trust and autonomy. A dedicated SDR supports your market directly, and you will collaborate with journalists, analysts, and commercial colleagues to sell a product the industry genuinely rates.
In your first four to six months, expect to complete a structured onboarding, build command of the Swedish energy market, and land your first new-logo deals. By month twelve, you will run a healthy self-built pipeline, contribute meaningfully to the Swedish new-business target, and convert closed accounts into a growing portfolio through upsell and cross-sell.
Onboarding includes time with the team in Oslo to learn the products, clients, and internal workflows before you take full ownership of Sweden. You will gain deep exposure to a complex, high-value market and senior stakeholders across utilities, trading, and finance. Within a scaling, PE-backed business, there is real room to grow your commercial expertise and account scope over time.
This role suits a self-motivated hunter who enjoys building something rather than inheriting it, and who can get comfortable with a complex product quickly. Energy-sector experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Montel’s culture is built around transparency, trust and strong relationships. Teams work across countries, but collaboration stays personal. People are given autonomy, supported as they develop and encouraged to share what they are seeing in their market.
Depending on the role, you may work remotely, in a hybrid setup or close to a local office. Regular customer visits, industry events and time with colleagues will keep you connected to both your territory and the wider European business.
