We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join an exciting assignment within the automotive industry.

In this role, you will work with software testing and requirements traceability in a development environment focused on delivering high-quality software for advanced vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute and document software tests.
Develop and maintain test cases.
Analyze test results and report defects.
Support requirements traceability by ensuring that software requirements are linked to implementation and verification activities.
Collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers and other stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the development process.

Qualifications

M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in software development, software testing or verification.
Experience working with software testing methodologies.
Understanding of requirements management and requirements traceability.
Experience from the automotive industry is highly valued.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Previous experience from Volvo Group or Volvo Cars is a must.
