Head of Sales – Credit & Wealth
We are looking for a commercially driven and growth-focused Head of Sales to join Tieto Banktech and lead the continued expansion of our Credit & Wealth business.
Tieto Banktech is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We deliver modular, pre-integrated Banking-as-a-Service solutions and market-leading software across core banking, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth management. Through deep industry expertise, scale, and specialization, we support banks and financial institutions in improving efficiency, increasing agility, and accelerating digital transformation.
As part of our growth strategy, we are strengthening our commercial leadership to accelerate growth in the Nordic markets while expanding selectively into Europe.
The Role
As our new Head of Sales, you will lead the new sales agenda for Credit & Wealth and play a central role in our next phase of growth.
A key priority will be to build commercial momentum and a strong, predictable pipeline of qualified opportunities – identifying the right target customers, creating access to decision-makers and systematically turning market potential into business.
You will lead and develop our sales organization and work closely with Product Units, Business Development, Marketing, Account Management and the broader Tieto Banktech sales organization. Together, you will translate strategic market choices into focused customer engagement and commercial execution.
You will also be a strong commercial voice towards our product organization – bringing customer and market insight into propositions, portfolio priorities and roadmaps to ensure we build solutions customers want to buy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Growth Execution

Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing Credit & Wealth sales organization.

Drive sustainable revenue growth across Nordic markets.

Build and execute focused expansion plans for selected European markets.

Build qualified pipeline, win new logos and ensure achievement of commercial targets.
Market Development & Customer Engagement

Build trusted relationships with strategic prospects, customers and senior decision-makers.

Identify and develop opportunities early – before they become formal procurement processes.

Expand existing customer engagements in close collaboration with Account Management.
Cross-Organizational Collaboration

Collaborate closely with sales leaders and account teams across Tieto Banktech to maximize cross-selling and coordinated market engagement.

Ensure alignment between market, account and domain-specific sales initiatives.
Commercial Leadership Towards Product Organizations

Work closely with the Product Units owning our Credit & Wealth offerings.

Bring customer and market insight into value propositions, portfolio priorities and product roadmaps.

Partner with Product Management and Business Development to ensure our offerings are competitive, scalable and sellable.
Performance & Operational Excellence

Drive a disciplined sales rhythm around pipeline coverage, qualification, conversion, win rate and forecast quality.

Monitor performance through clear KPIs and data-driven insights.

Provide strategic commercial input to senior leadership.
External Representation

Represent Tieto Banktech in customer forums, industry events and strategic market engagements.
Who we are looking for
- A proven track record of delivering measurable growth together with your teams.

Demonstrated ability to build qualified pipeline and win new logos.

Experience leading sales in international and complex B2B environments.

Experience developing new markets and scaling commercial operations.

A strong background in solution and technology sales within financial services or related industries.

Experience working closely with product organizations and influencing propositions and roadmaps through market needs.

Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and disciplined sales methodology.

The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution.

Executive-level communication skills and the ability to build trust across business and technology stakeholders.

Fluency in English, written and spoken.
