Assignment Description
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help pave the way for our digital platforms.
Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works and how industries do business. We constantly push the limits of convention, while keeping our focus on delivering quality products and solutions to our customers.
You'll join an agile team in a truly global environment, working with colleagues in Poland who collaborate closely with teams in India and Sweden. You'll report to the local department as well as the Global R&D functions for digital solutions in HVDC.
Our teams work in an agile way where everyone is expected to contribute their knowledge and experience toward common goals. That means breaking down activities together, collaborating within the team, and reaching out to other teams in (and sometimes outside) the HVDC organization.
What you'll be doing:
Maintaining and creating automated software builds (including internal tools) and testing for cloud and edge solutions.
Managing and enhancing logging and monitoring systems.
Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures through continuous vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Creating new environments using Kubernetes and Helm.
Configuring and managing application and time series databases.
Working in a cross-disciplinary team using agile development methodology,sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members.
Participating in DevOps forums and contributing ideas and innovations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar field, with 3+ years of experience and fluent English.
Well documented (10+ years) experience in relevant Engineering field
On a national level unique competence relevant to the special q qualifications and requirements for the assignment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps,CI/CD experience Docker and Kubernetes experience.
Experience working in Linux-based infrastructure, ArgoCD and Helm ChartsSolid troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Nice to have:
Understanding of IoT platforms/services and IoT communication (MQTT, Modbus, IEC 61850, CAN, WCF, OPC UA)
Cybersecurity knowledge related to data transfer over IoT communication protocols.
