With the launch of MetaDesign in Sweden, we are building a strong brand strategy and design consultancy capability in the Nordic market - working at the intersection of brand, experience, communication and technology, and fully integrated with the broader Publicis Groupe Power of One model.
We are now looking for a Senior Brand Strategist who will play a central role in building MetaDesign’s brand strategy capability in the Nordic market. This is not only a client-facing strategy role, but an opportunity to help build and define MetaDesign’s brand strategy offering in the Nordics - contributing to how we work, what we sell and how we position MetaDesign in the market. You will be part of the broader strategy community within Publicis Groupe, working closely with creative, media, intelligence, CX and technology colleagues across the organisation. At the same time, your primary focus will be to strengthen the MetaDesign perspective in the region - leading brand-driven transformation across positioning, identity, experience and communication.
As a Senior Brand Strategist, you will lead complex engagements, act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, and contribute to developing MetaDesign Stockholm as a leading strategic and creative partner for organisations facing change. You combine deep expertise in brand positioning, architecture and brand-led growth with experience of working in digital and technology-influenced environments. You are comfortable operating in interdisciplinary teams where brand, design, business and technology need to come together - and you enjoy working close to both clients and execution. This role suits someone who enjoys working hands-on with complex strategic challenges and wants to help build a strong strategy practice in the Nordic market.

Contribute to shaping both client engagements and the continued development of MetaDesign Stockholm as a consultancy

Lead and own complex brand strategy and brand transformation engagements

Act as a senior strategic advisor to client leadership teams

Shape brand positioning, brand architecture and portfolio strategies that support long-term growth

Translate brand strategy into clear direction across communication, digital products and customer experiences

Work closely with designers, creatives, CX specialists and technologists to ensure strategies are grounded and actionable

Lead interdisciplinary teams across MetaDesign and the wider Publicis Groupe Power of One

Contribute to shaping MetaDesign’s offering and strategic perspective in the Nordic market

Ensure high strategic quality, clarity and coherence across workshops, presentations and deliverables

Contribute to new business development through senior strategic thinking and opportunity shaping

Act as a senior knowledge resource within the organisation, contributing frameworks, perspectives and thought leadership

Be an active part of the international MetaDesign strategy community
We believe you bring:

A relevant university degree in business, design, communication or a related field

Extensive experience (typically 8–12+ years) in brand strategy, consulting or agency environments

A strong track record of leading brand strategy engagements at a senior level

Experience working in digital, service or technology-influenced contexts, either client-side or agency-side

Confidence collaborating with designers, product teams and technical specialists

Strong strategic judgement and the ability to connect brand ambition with organisational reality

Experience managing senior client relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments

Commercial understanding and experience contributing to pitches and business development

Excellent communication skills, English and Swedish, with confidence in senior-level presentations and facilitation

A collaborative, pragmatic mindset and comfort working in a matrix organisation
