About the role and the challenges you will work on
SAS Link operates a fleet of 16 Embraer 195-E1, mainly in the Scandinavian intra-domestic and European markets and will be expanding up to 55 E2 starting in September 2027, receiving one aircraft a month, a sustained, high-tempo expansion that will reshape the airline's operations and open significant opportunities for the team driving it.
The E2 Delivery Manager will be the primary gatekeeper for fleet expansion, ensuring that newly manufactured aircraft meet SAS standards as well as contractual, regulatory and safety requirements before formal title transfer at Embraer’s facility in Brazil. The Delivery Manager also ensures feeding back early in-service events to Embraer for continuous improvement.
Please note that this role requires full time presence in Sao Jose dos Campos at Embraer’s facility full time. Some travels to Scandinavia can be expected (less than 5% of the time)this role is fully based in Brazil with some travel to the headquarters in Stockholm.

More about the role and your experience
Main tasks:
Ensure all stakeholders are continuously up to date with latest information with regards to each aircraft in the delivery process
Prior to aircraft delivery
Static Inspections: Conduct rigorous visual and physical checks of the aircraft exterior, fuselage, wings, and landing gear for defects, dents, or paint issues.
Cabin & Interior Quality: Inspect the cabin layout, seating, inflight entertainment, galleys, and lavatories for proper installation and cosmetic perfection
Systems Verification: Witness and verify the functional testing of avionics, hydraulics, electrical networks, and environmental control systems
Technical Records Review: Audit manufacturing data packages, component logbooks, and Airworthiness Directives (ADs) for regulatory compliance
Conformity Verification: Confirm that the aircraft configuration matches the exact specifications outlined in the purchase or lease agreement
Defect Tracking: Document all findings, open items, and non-conformances in a delivery punch list and negotiate rectification timelines with the supplier
Acceptance Flight Evaluation: Participate in or review data from the customer acceptance flight to ensure proper in-flight performance of all systems.
Final Sign-off: Recommendation on the technical acceptance documentation required to trigger the financial and legal closing of the delivery
During aircraft delivery
Crew support: Act as liaison for crew carrying out the delivery flight
Ensure aircraft is airworthy as per EASA requirements prior to departure
After delivery
Ensure all concessions at Technical Acceptance are followed up, by means of AMOS
Participate in SAS Link operational reviews, including Reliability meetings
Feedback Embraer with early defects in the life of the aircraft
Participate in occurrence investigations with origin in the delivery process, including the manufacturing process
Experience and education:
In possession or having hold an EASA Part 66 AML or equivalent
Relevant experience in the aircraft delivery process from factory
Experience in aircraft delivery with Embraer is a plus
Experience in E2 is a plus
Proficiency in Portuguese is an advantage
You have excellent skills in:
Excelent inter-personnal skills, with the ability of building relationship but being assertive when needed
Negotiation: Strong diplomatic and communication skills to resolve technical disputes with supplier management.
Attention to Detail: exceptional ability to spot minor cosmetic, structural, or documentation deviations.
Ability to find, handle and structure a large amount of information to take the right decisions
Follow up in a structured way of open items and recovery plans
Sharp judgment skills in a fast changing, stressful and dynamic environment
Serious in all aspects and straight on priority settings
