The Sales Team is responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our retail experiences, increasing brand awareness, brand advocacy and driving conversion. Like everything at Dyson, our retail journey is designed with our consumers at the center. Our aim is to create inspired and highly differentiated consumer experiences that amplify the pioneering technology we make.
Working within the Nordics Sales team, as Junior Key Account Manager, your main responsibility will be to drive profit and growth at our independent stores partners across Nordics.
Commercially focused, you will use your negotiation and influencing skills to develop a strategic annual plan for your customer portfolio that sets out the key objectives for Dyson and the retailer.
This role also focuses on cross-functional department collaboration to elevate retail performance across indirect channel.
You have analytical skills, ingenuity, and decisiveness to deliver insights and actions to drive the joint business forward and align with the wider market strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver sales and profitability targets:

Deliver sales and gross margin targets in line with budget for the independent stores in Nordics

Daily account management of the independent doors portfolio in Nordic line with the full year Joint Business Plans & recurrent weekly visits to all our partners & locations
- Deliver an accurate twelve-month rolling forecast that accounts for sales trends, promotions, seasonality, distribution changes, NPD and product exits

Create & deliver together with your Retail accounts, compelling and complete Joint Business Plan, including thorough activation plan, ATL and NPD Launches.
- Agree, update, communicate and administer all areas of the promotional planning cycle

Manage a promotional budget in line with forecasts and retail activity plan

Manage costs & investment to maximize profitability across account portfolio
Deliver compelling, well thought through and inspiring presentations to retailer Senior Management:

Construct strong customer proposals as part of the commercial sequence, including analysis and presentation of key data
- Hold regular face-to-face meetings with your retailers

Organize and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to your customers
- Work with internal departments to drive through agreed customer initiatives.

Align the organization to your account and negotiation objectives, with an agreed timeline of deliverables
Experience & Skills:

Previous account management experience – Electro channels preferably
- Working knowledge of the Retail industry, either with an electrical manufacturer or other

Worked with, contributed and/or lead of a high performing sales team

Good level of commercial awareness

Good Experience in budget control and forecasting across multiple product lines.
- Degree preferred

Excellent level of communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written

High level of attention to detail & planning

Strong Analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
