As a Senior Application Engineer, you will join MathWorks’ Polyspace Product Field Team, a pan-European team focused on embedded software code verification solutions.
Polyspace products are known to provide leading code verification platform to guarantee high‑confidence embedded software development at scale. The product suite combines static and dynamic code analysis and scales from interactive use in the developer environment to automated workflows for Software Integration, enabling consistent and repeatable verification approaches across projects and whole organizations.

In this customer‑facing role, you will work closely with engineering teams and sales colleagues to lead the evaluation, adoption, and effective use of Polyspace code verification solutions across a wide range of customer environments. You will develop the technical relationship and drive customer success.
You will:
- Analyze customer requirements and embedded software development workflows and lead product evaluations and proofs of concept
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations for customers, seminars, and conferences to drive adoption and enable large-scale deployments
- Lead the technical strategy for key accounts, propose solutions and integrate Polyspace into customer tool chains and CI pipelines
- Impact product roadmaps by sharing customer insights to product development and marketing teams
- Support account teams in defining and executing strategies to expand and deepen customer adoption of our code verification tools across projects and accounts
Technical & workflow experience:
- Experience with embedded systems development, verification, and test
- Strong skills in C and C++; experience with Rust is a plus
- Experience with static code analysis, unit testing, and code coverage
- Familiarity with modern DevOps workflows, including CI/CD automation
- Experience with scripting languages like MATLAB or Python
Tooling, cloud & infrastructure:
- Experience with modern build and automation environments (for example: Bazel, Git, Jenkins)
- Exposure to containerized workflows, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with verification and test tools (for example: Polyspace, VectorCast, LDRA, QAC, PC-lint)
Standards, security & compliance:
- Familiarity with safety‑ or security‑relevant guidelines and standards, such as MISRA C/C++, CWE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, DO‑178C, IEC 61508, or similar
- Knowledge in cybersecurity topics is a plus
Project & collaboration experience (plus):
- Excellent communicator
- Problem-Solver mentality in complex environments (Diagnosis, Root-cause-analysis, fix)
- Experience leading or coordinating technical customer projects
- Familiarity with basic project management practices, such as planning, prioritization, and alignment across stakeholders
Domain knowledge (plus):
- Experience in one or more key industries, such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices, or semiconductors
Languages:
- English (required)
- Swedish (strong plus)
- Additional European languages are a plus
