Investment Banking Analyst – Corporate Loans, Stockholm
Corporate Loans is part of Danske Bank's Investment Banking division and originates, structures and executes financing solutions for a range of some of the largest to mid-sized Nordic corporates, financial institutions and real estate clients.
Our activities include refinancing, acquisition financing, syndicated loans, recapitalizations, fund and NAV finance and other complex financing solutions. We work closely with CFOs, Treasurers and senior management teams while collaborating across Coverage, Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Finance and Loan Syndications and other departments within the bank.
Our Pan-Nordic team consists of approximately 50 professionals. As one of the leading arrangers of syndicated loans in the Nordic market, we consistently rank among the most active Nordic banks in terms of transaction volume in Bloomberg league tables. Building on this momentum, we are seeking an Analyst to join our active, deal-centric environment and to take part in live transactions while building strong credit analysis, structuring and origination experience.

Your responsibilities
As an Analyst, you will assist with the origination and execution of financing transactions across a wide range of industries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the origination and execution of financing transactions
- Building financial models to assess debt capacity, leverage and capital structure alternatives
- Analysing companies, industries and financing opportunities
- Reviewing due diligence materials and other transaction documentation
- Preparing client presentations, financing proposals and credit applications
- Participating in client meetings and interactions with advisors and lending banks
- Supporting live transactions from initial analysis through execution and closing
From day one, you will gain exposure to live transactions, work with experienced colleagues and learn and deepen your understanding and experience of complex financing arrangements. You will meet management teams across industries, gain insight into diverse business models, and learn to assess risks and value drivers.

- An MSc degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline
- A solid academic track background

- A collaborative mindset and high level of personal responsibility
Previous experience from banking, corporate loans, corporate finance, consulting, accounting or a related field is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Fluency in Swedish and English is required. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word is expected, together with strong general digital skills.
