At inventYOU, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our consulting team for a long-term assignment within the Swedish public sector.
In this role, you will lead complex IT initiatives, drive strategic projects, and collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, suppliers, and senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading projects throughout the entire lifecycle while managing risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder communication.

The assignment is primarily based on-site in Solna, with the possibility of hybrid work by agreement.

Lead complex IT projects from initiation to successful delivery.

Drive project planning, governance, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.

Coordinate business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, suppliers, and management.

Lead workshops, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communication.

Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and change requests.

Support requirements analysis, solution planning, and implementation activities.

Ensure high-quality project documentation and decision support for senior management.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a Senior IT Project Manager leading complex IT projects.

Proven experience delivering large-scale IT transformation, digitalization, or system implementation projects.

Experience leading projects from requirements analysis through implementation and delivery.

Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience managing project governance, risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines.

Experience working with enterprise IT systems or digital platforms.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and drive complex initiatives forward.

Excellent Swedish language skills are mandatory.

Experience from the Swedish public sector, government agencies, municipalities, or regions.
