Events and webinars aren't a nice-to-have for us — they're one of our primary channels for building market presence, educating buyers, deepening customer relationships, and driving cross-sell across our solutions.
About the role
Do you know the difference between an event that generates pipeline and one that just fills a room?
We're looking for an interim Event & Webinar Marketing Manager to cover a maternity leave for one year. You'll take over a function mid-stride and be expected to own it fully from week one — physical events, webinar programme, measurement, budget, and all the moving parts in between. The role involves travel to events, conferences, and trade fairs across our markets.
What you'll own
Physical events
- Manage Talentech's full B2B event calendar — trade fairs, industry conferences, partner events, and our own hosted events
- Decide which events to attend and build the commercial rationale before we commit budget
- Brief booth concepts and experience design, coordinate speakers and materials, manage logistics and vendors
- Set the standard for pre-event preparation, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success
Webinar programme
- Build and run a structured webinar programme across three tracks:
- Demand generation — topic-led, SEO-informed, designed to attract and convert the right ICP into the funnel
- Customer adoption — focused on feature adoption, product updates, and value realisation
- Cross-sell — introducing current customers to adjacent Talentech products at the right moment
- Handle the full production cycle: topic selection, editorial calendar, speaker coordination, promotional campaigns, platform management (ON24 or similar), live facilitation, and post-webinar nurture
Across both channels
- Build a measurement framework where pipeline influenced, customer engagement, and expansion opportunities are what you report on — not just registrations and attendance
- Manage budgets with discipline and make clear calls on where we get the best return
- Develop content and messaging in close collaboration with the broader marketing team
- Build templates, playbooks, and processes so event execution doesn't live only in your head
- Coordinate agencies, AV vendors, platform partners, and event organisers
What we're looking for
- Proven experience running B2B event programmes end to end — not just contributing to them
- A clear point of view on what makes a webinar worth attending and what pre-event outreach actually works
- Commercially grounded — you think about events in terms of pipeline, retention, and revenue, and you build the reporting to prove it
- Strong project management and clear communication skills — in a one-year interim role, you assess fast, prioritise hard, and get moving
- Experience in SaaS or HR tech is a real advantage
- Fluent in English
